Meet Dr Daniel Silva
Dr Daniel Silva is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist, qualified clinical psychologist since 2019, with over 15 years in NHS mental health, neurological services and private practice. He specialises in psychological and neuropsychological assessment, therapy and rehabilitation, with a particular interest in the relationship between cognitive functioning, emotional wellbeing and mental health. His approach is collaborative, evidence-based and tailored to each person's individual needs and circumstances.

Dr Silva’s approach is shaped by a longstanding interest in how the brain, cognition, emotions, relationships and life experiences influence one another. His experience across specialist neurorehabilitation, acute stroke services, community neuropsychology, inpatient neuropsychiatry and complex mental health care enables him to work with difficulties that may not fit neatly within a purely neurological or psychological explanation.
Professional Approach
Bringing together psychological models and an understanding of how the brain works, Dr Silva considers the whole person rather than symptoms or test results in isolation.
Dr Silva aims to offer a warm, thoughtful and non-judgemental space, while bringing the clinical rigour needed to develop a clear understanding and identify practical, meaningful ways forward.
